Local fix

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
This issue affects users who are configuring the WMQ resource
adapter using the deployment descriptor file, ra.xml.

    Platforms affected:
All Distributed (iSeries, all Unix and Windows) +Java
    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM SUMMARY:
shareConvCount was incorrectly named and should have been named
    shareConvAllowed in the ra.xml file.

xaEnabled is not used and should have been removed from the
    ra.xml file.

Problem conclusion

  • The ra.xml file was updated to rename shareConvCount to
shareConvAllowed and the redundant xaEnabled property was
    removed.

The InfoCenter will be updated to include a definition for the
putAsyncAllowed property, which is as follows:

    Description:

Whether message producers are allowed to use asynchronous puts
to send messages to this destination.

    Valid values:

QUEUE - Determine whether asynchronous puts are allowed by
      referring to the queue definition.

TOPIC - Determine whether asynchronous puts are allowed by
      referring to the topic definition.

DESTINATION - Determine whether asynchronous puts are allowed
by referring to the queue or topic definition.

DISABLED - Asynchronous puts are not allowed.

ENABLED - Asynchronous puts are allowed.
