Error description

  • Firmware 3.7.1.10

Description: DataPower does not allow import of .p12 (PKCS#12)
files with a special (meta) character in the password.

Local fix

  • Do not use any special characters in the password.

Problem summary

  • The WebGUI was not properly URL-encoding the password field
when configuring a certificate object, resulting in special
characters in the password being interpreted as delimiters
rather than being passed through.

Problem conclusion

  • Properly URL-encode passwords
