  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Launching, adding, or updating an       *

  *                      SRV085400E : unexpected error while     *
  *                      performing the following device         *
  *                      functionality.  The http protocol       *
  *                      handler was Java 1.5 specific, and      *
  *                      although this is the expected level,    *
  *                      work can be done to allow previous      *
  *                      JRE versions.                           *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply fixing level when available. This      *
  *                 problem is currently projected to be fixed   *
  *                 in 4.1 and later version.  Note that this    *
  *                 is subject to change at the discretion of    *
  *                 IBM.                                         *

Problem conclusion

• Http protocol handler was modified to allow down-level JREs.
  Also included was the recognition of older versions of
  DS8000/DSGUI.
  
  The fix for this APAR is targeted for the following
