    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: PCSXFER041 timeout occurs with IND$FILE *
    *                      3270 file transfer from a 27x132 Mod5   *
    *                      display session.                        *

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    Users are unable to download files from ISPF Opt 6 on the 3270
    host when PCOMM is configured with a Mod5 27x132 screen size.
    When the file is selected for download and the user selects
    receive, the PCOMM session hangs until the timeout period
    expires (Text or Binary mode transfer). This happens because
    the host waits infinitely for the ENTER key to be sent from
    the client.

Problem conclusion

  • PCSLT.DLL has been changed to send the ENTER key when the host
    requests it.

    Fixed in Manufacturing Refresh PCOM 5.9.5.0
