Error description
An FDC for probe id XC006001 is generated when running pub/sub. This occurs following publication at a point where xcsFreeMem is freeing off a temporary subscriber cache. The application continues to run.
Local fix
none. Buffer lengths for RFH2 message data was incorrectly calculated when publishing to subscriber queues. Apply APAR fix.
Problem summary
**************************************************************** USERS AFFECTED: Users running pub/sub applications migrated from WMQ v6 or WebSphere Message Broker. Platforms affected: All Distributed (iSeries, all Unix and Windows) **************************************************************** PROBLEM SUMMARY: Older pubsub applications send requests to the broker formatted using RFH2. The code supporting these applications in WMQ v7 was incorrectly calculating the length of the RFH2 headers.
Problem conclusion
