Error description
When a HATS user is in a HATS project that uses Hebrew code page 424 the Field + key behavior is inconsistent. The expected behavior for [field+] key is to clean the field from cursor position to the end of the field, then the cursor should advance to the beginning of the field. The actual behavior using [field+] will intermittently display the following: 1. Clear the field from cursor position -1 (one character before the cursor) to the field end. Then advance to the beginning of the next field. 2. Clear the field from the cursor position to the beginning of the field, then advance to the beginning of the next field. 3. Clear the entire field and the previous field, then advance to the beginning of the previous field.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: Arabic & Hebrew speaking customers * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Incorrect behaviour of Field+ command * * on 5250 field having Right-to-left * * attribute, when cursor states at the * * endof field. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** Due to the different mode of showing cursor position on Hats screen versus Host screen (before the character to be edited versus under the character to be edited) HostScreen class should adjust the cursor position being sent to Host. This action wasn't performed when cursor has been positioned at the end of field.
Problem conclusion
