APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • There are several possible problems when starting or connecting
    to a queue manager on Windows Vista. Symptoms are:
    
    - An abend from xcsQueryMTimeFn during process end.
    - FDC with reason code 2195 and probeID ZI016207 in
    ziiConnectToAgent.
    - FDC from xstSpinOffServer in an XA scenario.
    
    Additionally the 64-bit version of MQAX.dll and library needs to
    be shipped.
    

Local fix

  • Request interim fix from IBM support.

    Users who wish to use WebSphere MQ V7.0 on Windows Vista,
    including WebSphere Message Broker users.
    
    Platforms affected:
    All Distributed (iSeries, all Unix and Windows)

    PROBLEM SUMMARY:
    Several problems have been discovered in the scenario with
    WebSphere Message Broker V7.0 connecting to WebSphere MQ V7.0
    on Windows Vista.
