  as "\u001b\u005b\u0031\u0035\u007e" PF Key stopped working.
  Using "\u001b\u001b\... worked.
  Also, using :  \u009b\u0031\u0035\u007e also worked.

  Some of the HOD VT custom functions are not working properly
  after upgrading to HOD 10.0.2. This happens with custom
  functions starting with \u001b. The workaround to this problem
  is replacing \u001b\u005b with \u009b in the custom function.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem is happening because there was an error in the
  condition to remove the extra \u001b coming with the custom
  functions. The code was modified to correct the problem.
