Error description

• For TSM Server levels above 5.3.1.0 when defining tape drive
  paths for ADIC libraries, the define path command may fail with
  the following error:
  ANR8972E DEFINE PATH: Unable to find the element number for
  drive <drive name> in library <library name>.
  This problem has been seen on a TSM 5.3.1.4 server on Sun
  Solaris 8.  This problem will affect ADIC libraries with AIT,
  SDLT220 or SDLT320 tape drives.

Local fix

• Revert to the 5.3.1.0 TSM Device driver level.

Problem conclusion

• The TSM device driver has been updated to return valid drive
  serial numbers in ADIC libraries with SDLT 220, SDLT 320, and
