Error description

  • A segmentation fault occurs when the UNIX(R) mv command is used
from within an IBM(R) Rational(R) ClearCase(R) view to move a
file from a local NLD9 filesystem to some other non-local NFS
filesystem.

Local fix

  • Workaround is to use the UNIX cp command instead of mv.
