IC35517: DELETE FILESPACE UNABLE TO DELETE FS IF ROW IS MISSING. ANR0104E ... ERROR 2 DELETING ROW FROM TABLE "BACKUP.OBJECTS".

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• A "delete filespace" command in TSM may fail with :
  ANR0104E imfsdel.c(1791): Error 2 deleting row from table
   "Backup.Objects".
  if row is missing in Backups.Objects table.
  This has been noticed with TSM server 5.1.5.4 level.

  *                      if an ANR0104E is issued for a          *
  *                      missing backup object entry in the      *
  *                      inventory database for any object       *
  *                      in the filespace to be deleted.         *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the fix for this APAR when the PTF     *
  *                 containing the fix is available.             *
  ****************************************************************
  The DELETE FILESPACE should have been continued even if there
  is missing backup object entry for an object in the filespace
  to be deleted.  This is because the backup object entry will
  be eventually deleted by the DELETE FILESPACE process anyway.
  

Problem conclusion

• The code has been changed to continue the DELETE FILESPACE
  processing even if there is ANR0104E message issued for any
  missing backup object entry. A trace entry is also added to
  trace the object name and id for the object that has the
  missing backup object entry.
