IC35470: ANR1469E WHEN UPDATING A SCRIPT WITH UMLAUT VIA WEB ADMIN SESSION

APAR status

• Closed as suggestion for future release.

Error description

• The Webadmin Gui does not allow a script to be updated using
  umlaut characters. The following line was added to the
  $TEXTLINES textarea:
  issue message i "}"
  Upon submission, the following error message gets generated:
  ANR1469E UPDATE SCRIPT: Command script BKUP_STG_D1,
            Line 1 is an INVALID command : issue message w ".
  .
  The script completes OK using the ü HTML character, but
  once this is committed to the database you can no longer use
  the web admin to update the new defined script.

  The following generated textareas do not work (for umlaut u):
  <textarea cols=50 rows=10 name="$TEXTLINES">
  issue message w '&uuml;'
  </textarea>
  or
  <textarea cols=50 rows=10 name="$TEXTLINES">
  issue message w '}'
  </textarea>

• Use command line interface to define/update scripts with
  umlaut characters.
