HE07169: DRAFTING / ARROW DISAPPEARS FOR DIAMETER DIMENSION WITH SINGLE A RROW ON CLIPPING DIMENSION

Error description

• Scenario
  1.Create new drawing with JIS standard.
  2.Define circle and define diameter dimension.
  3.Slect dimension and select Properties from its context menu.
  4.Select Dimension line tab and Check off for Symbol2.
  Diameter dimension has one arrow symbol.
  5.Move dimension position out of the circle.
  6.Select Create/Modify Clipping command and clip the
  dimension.

  Problem: Arrow Symbol disappears
  .
  Expected Result:
  Arrow symbol should not be gone even though dimension is
  clipped.

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION V5R22 GA level.
  NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED ON V5R21 SP2.
  Additional Closure Information:
  Incident Diagnosis:Drafting / Arrow disappears for Diameter
  Dimension with single arrow on clipping Dimension
  Correction Explanatiion: The problem does not occur.
  Possible By-pass:Use clipped, two symbols diameter dimension.
