Error description

  • Subject : ENOVIA LCA classic search panel problem
    Step by step scenario:
    1. Start ENOVIA LCA classic and logon.
    2. Go to the ENOVIA search tree and select the search for part i
    nstance menu.
    In the Part Number filed type in the number  for example > 81.43
    722-0082*
    ==> The search will take about 1min30sec on the Customer databas
    e.
    The same search on eqal takes 1 sec.
    The search with wildcard at the end should go through the index.

Problem conclusion

  • THE PROBLEM WAS SUBMITTED ON :VERSION V5R19.
    THIS PROBLEM IS NOT REPRODUCIBLE ON :VERSION V6R2012 GA
    level, VERSION V5R21 GA level AND ALSO ON VERSION V5R20 SP6.
    Additional Closure Information:
    Incident Diagnosis: Oracle problem.
    Solved by contacting the Oracle support.
