Error description

  • Customer is installing 2 servers. One is SMT Web Server. One
    is SMT Web Viewer (jVue).
jVue server is installed by SMARTEAM_Web_Viewer_20.exe from
    R20 SP4 CD.
It is install with no errors.
After installation, the jVue is not working. Cannot connect
    to this jVue as Client.
On the SMT Web Viewer server machine user opens IE and run
    URL:
    http://localhost/jVue/jVue.html.
Then you get in the Java log the following:
Caused by: java.io.IOException: open HTTP connection
    failed:http://192.168.0.83/jVue/com/cimmetry/jvue/JVue/class.cla
    ss
    at sun.plugin2.applet.Applet2ClassLoader.getBytes(Unknown
    Source)

However the ip 192.168.0.83 is NOT the IP of this Server but
an IP of another Server (for the Web Server).
Please advice how come this jVuew server is looking for the
IP of an other Server machine?
Where can be a wrong setting that might cause this phenomenon.
