HE02614: LOGICAL VIEW ISSUE ON STIFFENER BY DIFFERENT SUPPORT TYPE IN SFD/SDD

Error description

• SCENARIO:
  1. Create a shell plate
  2. Create few shell side bottom stiffener with two option
  2.1 few stiffeners with long plane as support
  2.2 few stiffeners with curve as support (curve should be
  created with intersection of long plane and shell molded
  surface
  3. create few shell vertical stiffener
  3.1 few stiffener with cross plane as support
  3.2 few stiffeners with curve as support (curve is created
  with intersection of  molded surface and cross plane
  4. Generate drawing from top
  CONCERN:
  1. stiffeners with plane as support are created correctly
  with top view, and stiffeners with curve as support are
  created with any view.
  2. Section view is also giving inconsistent results.

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON Virtual Design  VERSION V5R21
  GA level.
  NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED ON V5R20 SP5.
  Additional Closure Information:
  Technical explanation of the defect:
  In view selection Algorithm, for stiffeners whose support is
  a plane for that top view is
  generated if section orientation is perpendicular to view
  direction or not, and for Curve as
  support directly giving as Any View.
  Technical explanation of the correction:
  The Section Orientation is not calculated before use, due to
  which for some stiffeners the GR
  was generated, which was not right. Now for only stiffeners
  whose support is Plane and option
  as along Plane, GR will Generate, which also depends on
  Section orientation and view direction.
