HE02408: GSD: With MD2 license and HD2 license insert Geometrical Set sh ould work similar

Error description

• SCENARIO:
  1. Start CATIA with MD2 License and create a new CATPart
  2. Create a Pad in Part Design
  3. Right click on Pad.1 and select ???Define in Work Object" fro
  m Contextual menu
  5. Switch to Generative Shape Deign
  6. Insert Geometrical Set (with pad.1 highlighted)
  7. Geometrical Set.1 appears inside the Part (Part1)
  8. Start CATIA with HD2 License and create a new CATPart
  9. Create a Pad in Part Design
  10. Right click on Pad.1 and select ???Define in Work Object" fr
  om Contextual menu
  11. Switch to Generative Shape Deign
  12. Insert Geometrical Set (with pad.1 highlighted)
  13. Warning appears "Pad.1" can't be selected because it's incon
  sistent with aggregation rules???
  14. Select OK
  15. "Insert Geometrical Set" window appears, where the "Father"
  is automatically set to Part1 -> OK
  16.  Geometrical Set.1 appears inside the Part (Part1)
  .
  Result:
  CATIA V5 with HD2 license issue an error message when Pad.1 is s
  elected, whereas MD2 does not
  Expected Result:
  CATIA V5 with both MD2 license and HD2 license should give the s
  ame result.

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION V5R21 GA level.

  Technical explanation of the defect:
  With MD2 license and HD2 license insert Geometrical Set
  should work similar
  Technical explanation of the correction:
  With the license MD2, the command tries to insert the new
  Geometrical Set after the in work object,
  Pad.1.
  But Aggregation rules do not allow creating this set under
  the PartBody.
  The Geometrical Set is finally created under the Part then.
  The correction consists to explain this by displaying an
  information message:
  "The set can't be inserted after the in work object Pad.1
  because it's inconsistent with aggregation rules."
  Notice that the command does not take into account the
  selected object contrary to the license HD2.
  Here however Pad.1 is both the in work object and the
  selected object.
