HE01774: PROPERTIES OF DERIVED CONFIGURATION ARE NOT LOADED FROM SMARTEAM.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Scenario: (Please open attached video file
  "DerivedConfigMappings.wrf" for detail scenario)
  1. Set SWI options
      'SaveDerivedConfigurations' = False (do not save)
      'Save configurations' = TRUE
      Simplified Configuration = (*).
  2. Create new Part file.
  3. Have on file following three configurations:
       Config1 (second)
       Config1
          |--- DerivedConfig
  4. Save file to SMARTEAM.
      ==> OK: One Profile card is created.
  5. Update Profile Card with Description = New Description.
                                              Item Number =
  MyItemNumber.
  5. Do in SMARTEAM menu: Load Properties.
  6. Open File \ Properties in SolidWorks. Switch to
  Configuration Specific.
  Current result:- ==> KO: Properties for Config1 and Config1
  (Second) are updated.
  However Proprties for DerivedConfig is not updated by
  SMARTEAM.
  Expected: Properties of Derived Configuration should update
  by SMARTEAM even if Derived Configuration is not saved.
  Shuold be same behavior like Simplified Configuration - Not
  saved but   Configuration Specific are updated!

  Additional Closure Information:
  Issue is fixed with Enovia SmarTeam V5R20SP6
