Error description

  • Enovia V5 Selection option does not popup when creating
filters in specifications catalogs.
This has been Ran on Both 32 and 64 bit machines.
We open the piping specification Catalog
(P51PipingSpecifications ---.Catalog) and
When trying to run a query from a specification catalog, we
manually have to key-in the path to the Enovia Part catalog.
We have set the Options as:
Folder                Current
DLName             Allowed
SmarTeam Query  Not Allowed
ENOVIA V5 VPM  Allowed
SmarTeam          Not Allowed
SMARTEAM (CWI)    Not Allowed
Catalog              Allowed
Loaded Document    Allowed
LINKED DOCUMENT LOCALIZATION - all options Active=Yes
It is expected that when we click Browse, the ?option to
select a file? pops up,  when we cancel
We expect to see the Enovia selection option. Instead nothing
appears.
The user has to put the Correct entire path and select browse.
 If we plug in the path to Enovia with a ?---? and error pops
up
The user must remove the ?---? , click Browse, when the file
selection menu appears, cancel it , or select off the window
to get the filter icon to appear, else the filter icon
remains grayed out.
The  piping parts catalog is not file based, why is Enovia,
VPM nav not selectable??

Problem conclusion

  • THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON I-PLM Collaborative Innovation
VERSION V5R21 GA level.

Diagnosis: migrate on PLMChooser (variable
CatalogExternalChapterFileChooser to rollback the behavior)
We were not able to test this in the lab, customer will need
to verify correction on their data.
