Error description

  • SCENARIO:
Start two different Session of CATIA R20 SP03 and R19SP08.
Test in R19SP8.
1. Start R19SP8.
2. Open  a Customer specific CATPart.
3. Select the Rectangular pattern command.
4.  Object to pattern: Select solid.
> Reference Element: Select the edge .
Correct result: It is possible to do this operation.
Tests in R20SP3
4. Launch CATIA V5 R20 SP3
5. Open the attached CATPart
6. Use "Rectangular Pattern" function:
> Object to pattern: Select solid
 Reference Element: Select the edge.
RESULTS:
It is NOT possible to do this operation.
The OK and Preview button is greyed out.
EXPECTED RESULTS: It should be possible to do this operation

  • THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA  VERSION V5R21 GA level.
NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED ON V5R20 SP5.
