Problem conclusion

  • THIS PROBLEM IS PERMANENT RESTRICTION IN CATIA
    Additional Closure Information:
    Incident Diagnosis:
When Paste is executed, "Paste error" window is displayed.
    .
    Reason:
Whenever any feature or geometry is copied in CATIA, it is
saved on clipboard to be used to paste later. The problem in
this case arises from the Incremental backup mechanism. When
Incremental Backup log is emptied on Save operation, content
of the clipboard has to be flushed. And since clipboard has
to be flushed, there is nothing to be pasted, and hence we
    get the designed error message.
    .
