Error description
ABSTRACT: Measure Inertia: Content & Parameters in the tree, edit window & f(x) are different. . SCENARIO: 1. Launch CATIA V5R19SP5 & Go to Tools/Options/General/Parameter and Measure and then select "With value" & "With formula". 2. Create new part with Enable Hybrid design. 3. Create a sketch & extrude it. 4. Use measure inertia select the Part Body. 5. Select Keep Measure & in customize; select only Area, Volume, Density & Mass. 6. Since only surface is created , InertiaSurface.1 displayed with Area, Surface Mass & Mass values. Click OK. 7. Now go to Part design workbench & modify the contents of Part Body by adding thickness to create a solid. 8. Update the Inertia Surface.1. we see there is difference between Displayed parameters in the tree & parameters in the Edit window for measure inertia (with double click InertiaSurface.1 ), Volume parameter is added in edit window but in tree & also f(x) we don?t have Volume parameter ? This is the problem. 9. Now create a new inertia measurement (InertiaVolume.1) by selecting the Part body (Area, Volume, Density & Mass parameters appear in tree). 10. Delete the contents of the Part body & update the InertiaVolume.1 , the Volume values in the tree are not changing to zero - This is the problem. . RESULT: All the parameters (especially Volume in this case) in the Specification tree, Edit window & in f(x) for measured inertia properties are not same & do not represent updated/modified correct values of these parameters at any moment. EXPECTED RESULT: All the parameters (especially Volume in this case) in the Specification tree, Edit window & in f(x) for measured inertia properties should be same & represent updated/modified correct values of these parameters at any moment.

Problem conclusion
THIS PROBLEM WAS REPORTED ON CATIA V5R19SP5. THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED IN NEXT RELEASE WHICH IS CATIA V5R21GA & V5R20SP3. Additional Closure Information: Incident Diagnosis Measure Inertia: Content & Parameters in the tree, edit window & f(x) are different. Explanation This problem is closed as FIN on CATIA V5R19 level. So this problem is now fixed on CATIA V5R20SP3 & CATIA V5R21GA levels. The problem is corrected now and the content & parameters in the Specificatio tree, edit window and f(x) are same now.
