HD93821: IT IS AN ERROR AT THE TIME OF THE USE BY PROJECT SECURITY

Error description

  • Abstract:
    
      When CATPRoduct save with "Propagate Security" when there
    is no
      authority in projects that the registered component has
    linked, the
      Documents-Projects link to Project that parents Product
    link isn't
      made, and the wrong message is displayed.
    
    Preparation:
    
       1. Start System Configuration Editor
    
       2. Search CATIA.Link.
    
       3. Select CATIA.LinkTomainClass.
    
       4. Select Add.
    
       5. Set value to YES on domain level.
    
       6. Press Save.
    
       7. Return to search result.
    
       8. Select CATIA.LinkAllTomainclass
    
       9. Select Add
    
      10. Set value to YES on domain level.
    
      11. Press Save.
    
      12. Press logout.
    
      13. Start Admin console. (Login joe)
    
      14. Start User Maintenance.
    
      15. Select Users icon.
    
      16. Press Add.
    
      17. Fill test in User Login field, then press OK.
    
          User test belongs to no group
    
      18. Start and Login Smarteam (User: joe)
    
      19. Select "Mobile Phone Development" on project tree and
    select
          "Project Based Authorization" on contextual menu.
    
      20. Press edit on Project Based Authorization window.
    
      21. Add test to Project manager role.
    
      22. Press close.
    
      23. Select "Jet Ski Original Development" on project tree
    and select
          "Project Based Authorization" on contextual menu.
    
      24. Press edit on Project Based Authorization window.
    
      25. Add test to Designer role. And then close window.
    
      26. Open the document tree of "Mobile Phone
    
          Development(ID:Project-0062)"
    
      27. Select Document and Select Add Folder on contextual
    menu.
      28. Press OK.
    
          Select "Secure Fold-0040? by Project -0062,Mobile Phone
    
          Development" and then press Yes.
    
      29. Open document tree of  "Jet Ski Original Development"
    
          (ID:Project-0048)"
    
      30. Drag "Four-stroke BE-C color/02" and drop to top of
    document tree.
      31. Select Yes to All.
    
      32. Select  "Four-stroke BE-C color/02" (created at step6),
    and then
          select  Associated with Project.
    
      33. Select Propagate and then select Yes to ALL.
    
      34. Exit SmarTeam.
    
    Scenario:
    
       1. Start CATIA V5
    
       2. Create New Product..
    
       3. Connect SmarTeam. (login test)
    
       4. Selct Insert component under Assembly Management of
    Smarteam
          integration menu.
    
       5. Select CATIA Part and press modify.
    
          Set State to Released on Search by attribute window.
    Then press
          Run
    
       6. Select Oil Tank from search result, and press ok.
    
          * Oil Tank is linked with "Project-0048 Jet Ski
    Original
            Development" and protected in project.
    
       7. Activate top of product and select save under smarteam
    menu.
       8. Select Project-0062 Mobile Phone Development on Project
    manager
          window and select secured folder.
    
          And select Propagate security and then press save.
    
    ==> KO!!    Error message "The logged in user(test) does not
    have a role
          definition in project ?Project-0062?." is displayed.
    
          But user test assign a Project Manager Role.
    
       ? And though  CATIA.LinkAllTomainclass set to Yes, the
    link of
          Documents-Projects is not created.
    
    Expected Result:
    
      When CATProduct save with "Propagate Security" when there
    is no
      authority in projects that the registered component has
    linked, the
      Documents-Projects link to Project that parents Product
    link is made
      (Protection doesn't propagate), and the message is not
    displayed.
