• SCENARIO:
  1. Start CATIA V5
  2. Create a net CATPart
  Workbench: Part design
  3. Create a rectangular sketch with
  coordinate (-30,0) to (40,20) on
  ZX plane.
  4. Click Exit
  workbench
  5. Create a sketch with profile having four segments
  (lines) by
  clicking at the following 5 coordinates. (0,0)
  (-40,0) (-60,-20)
  (-90,0) (-140,10)  The profile must not be
  exactly like this, but
  there should be a parallelism
  constraint (H) on Line.1 and a
  coincidence constraint on
  Point.4 (with HDirection).
  6. Click Exit workbench
  7. Create
  Rib by using Sketch.1 as Profile and Sketch.2 as Center
  Curve
  8. Double-click Sketch.2 under Rib.1
  9. Apply Constraint /
  select line.4
  12.) Double-click on the applied constraint and
  right click into the
  text-field Value

  DUPLICATE APAR APPLIES ALSO TO THE CURRENT PROBLEM.
