• SCENARIO:

  2. Go to Shape Design
  Workbench
  3. Observe the EdgeFillet.314
  4. Turn on the view
  mode: Shading with edges without smooth edges.
  Result: A
  sharp edge appears in a particular area of this fillet.
  Expected Result: The sharp edge should not be created in the
  fillet

  Incident Diagnosis:
  Fillet result has a sharp
  edge because ribbon propagation has
  prematurely stopped. This
  occurs due to the presence of a double
  lateral twist on
  fillet tracks.
  By-Pass:
  Smooth the sharp edge afterward by
  changing the input values of the
  fillet radius.
  Development
  Request Justification:
  This kind of Twist (Both-sides twist)
  detection and untwist them
  during the fillet operation, needs
  a new development. This
  modification can only be implemented
  on the existing functionality
  after a very careful study of
  newly created filleting behavior.
  We are very confident that
  this behavior is very rare and that would
  happen in a very
  specific cases. Hence we would like to request you
  to open an
