Error description

• SCENARIO:
  1. Start CATIA R19SP03.
  2. Under Tools / Options /
  Drafting / Administration the option Prevent Use of Generative
  View Style must be unchecked.
  3. Generate a simple solid
  geometry in a new CATPart document.
  4. Switch to Drafting
  workbench.
  5. Generate Front and 2 Side views of the created
  geometry.
  .
  6. Select all 3 views and from contextual menu
  select Properties option.
  7. In properties window observe the
  drop-down menu for Generative View Style selection.
  RESULT:
  The dropdown GVS option is greyed out. It is not
  selectable.

  8. Select only a single view and repeat step
  7.
  RESULT: GVS can be changed from the drop-down
  menu.
  ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
  Perform step 6 and 7 in
  R18SP06.
  RESULT: The GVS is selectable even if multiple views
  are selected.
  EXPECTED RESULT:
  In step 7 the GVS menu should
  not be greyed out. It should be selectable.

  INCIDENT DIAGNOSIS
  If multiple views are
  selected, the option of GVS is not selectable.
  This is a
  design behavior of CATIA and has been intentionally
  changed.
