Comments

  • INCIDENT DIAGNOSIS:
Unable to save corrupt file to local
    disk
    .
    DEVELOPMENT JUSTIFICATION:
    1. The CATPart is quite big
in term of numbers of objects (even small
    objects).
    2. In
GenericNaming container, there are differents objects :
    one is
called the scope: there is one scope for each feature (a
simple point is also a feature).
In the scope we have nodes
(each node correspond to an element with a
     name ) .
    In the
streamed file, the number of nodes of a scope is stored on an
integer as there could be a large amount of nodes in one
    scope.
Before R20, it was stored on a short integer (max was
    65535). In the
provided CATPart, there is at least one scope
    which have about 85000
nodes, so it cannot be stored
correctly in R19 level. The way to
    store this number in R19
cannot be changed even in a SP. So the
    problem cannot be
corrected in R19 in any SP. The correction will be
    available
    from R20GA level.
