Error description
Wrong behaviour of CATIA V5 saving management while modifying CATDrawing-Instances links SCENARIO: 1. Connect to VPM 2. Create three parts and the following structure : |---- DRAWING ROOT -----| |---- PART1 | |---- PART2 3. Associate a CATPart with one PartBody to each PARTx and an empty CATDrawing to DRAWING 4. Close all documents 5. Open ROOT in PSN and expand it 6. Load PART1 and PART2 in CATIAV5 from ROOT in product mode 7. Load DRAWING in CATIAV5 in reference mode 8. In DRAWING, create a Front view of the instances of the two PARTs (In modify link , the pointed elements are the instances of PART1 and PART2 and not Whole Assembly ). 9. Save all 10. Check the status of the links in VPM => it is OK 11. In CATIA, cut the instance of PART1 + Save all 12. Check the status of the links: PART1 is missing in the structure and the related link is LOST => OK 13. In CATIA, the link between DRAWING and PART1 is broken 14. Force the saving of DRAWING by hiding and then showing the Front View + Save 15. Copy and paste PART1 under ROOT in VPM so as to retrieve the initial structure 16. Add PART1 in the existing CATIA V5 product 17. In DRAWING, remove the broken link and add the new instance of PART1 18. Update DRAWING and save it => CATIA does not seem to take the change of links into account 19. Check the status of the links => it s KO RESULT: There are no more links between DRAWING and the two PARTs. .
