Error description

• Infra: Edition of 3DXML is KO with Insert Object
  definition option in drawing
  .
  SCENARIO:
  1. Install 3DXML Player (last version 6.0.8297)
  2. Start CATIA V5
  3. Create a pad in a new CATPart
  4. Save the part as 3dxml file
  5. Create a new CATDrawing
  6. Select Insert menu and Object command. Insert
  object dialog box appears
  7. Select Create from file option and click on
  browse
  8. Select the 3Dxml file created in step 4
  9. Click OK to Insert object dialog box
  10. 3dxml file is inserted with the 3DS logo
  11. Select the logo and through contextual menu
  select Inserted object.1 object ? Definition option
  .
  PROBLEM:
  The 3dxml part does not open with 3dxml player.
  Neither there is any warning/error message.

  Incident Diagnosis:
  3D XML Player doesn't work in Insert Object in Drawings
  .
  Development Request Justification:
  Even if this issue is seen as an issue in Drawings, the root
  cause is in the 3D XML Player. 3D XML Player does not support
  ?open? verb, but supports only ?edit?. To be used in the
  scenario context, the behavior of the player must be
  modified. 3D XML Player is a free product and any improvement
  is done only through Enhancement Request
