Error description
VB6 interface ManufacturingSetup.ReadMfgData no notice of error . When using the VB6 interface ManufacturingSetup.ReadMfgData there is no notice of an error if the name passed in does not have a corresponding NCSet within the .model. . Scenario: 1- Open CATIA V5 R19SP2 2- Open a new CATProcess document 3- Open Visual Basic 6.0 4- Open provided project and run/Start project 5- Select the provided aptsource file. 6- Select provided CATProduct file 7- Select ?Read in NCSets? . RESULT: After feeding list to ReadMfgData an incomplete list is read in. EXPECTED RESULT: Complete list or a warning message that data has been skipped. If an error message is found the ability to search within VB on the NC set names within the model. So we can feed the full name back into the model. . The CATIA error message, displaying the failure to read the NCSets, stops the application from processing until the user acknowledges it. This error message currently can not be suppressed with CATIA.DisplayFileAlerts = False. This is unacceptable, as our VB process is to eliminate user interaction once the import process has begun. . please reanalyze accordingly. .
