HD84827: CAN NOT IMPORT CATIA FILE WITH JAPANESE NAME

Error description

• 3DVIA Composer can not import CATIA file with
  Japanese name.
  Scenario:
  1. Create a CATPart file on CATIA CXR18rel or
  CXR19rel.
  2. Open it on 3DVIAComposer V6R2009x -->OK
  3. Rename the CATPart file with a name containing
  Japanese 2-byte character.
  4. Open the CATPart renamed on 3DVIAComposer
  V6R2009x--> KO
  Results: 3DVIAComposer shows the following
  message "Error: Unable to translate file !"
  Expected Results: 3DVIAComposer should load
  CATPart file with japanese character.
  Settings's environment:
  -Windows XP Professional (English 32bit Edition)
  SP2
  -Regional Options
  Standards and formats : English(US)
  Location : English(US)
  Text service / Default input language : English (US)
  Language for non-Unicode programs : Japanese
  -3DVIA Composer V6R2009x.

Problem conclusion

• This problem is a permanent restriction,
  3DVIAComposer use a CATIA kernel that
  does not support Japanese Characters so
  the conversion's engine of 3DVIAComposer
  can not take into account those characters.
