Error description

  • SCENARIO:
    1. Double click on provided CATPart.
    2. CATIA file can not be opened. It gives error
    message.
    3. Start CATIA
    4. File/open , select the provided file.
    5. File can not be opened in CATIA. Problem in
    reading document Load operation failed.
    This is the problem.

    Expected result:
    File should be opened correctly without any error
    message.

  • THE PROBLEM WAS SUBMITTED ON CATIA
    VERSION 5 RELEASE 19.
    THIS PROBLEM IS NOT REPRODUCIBLE ON CATIA
    VERSION 5 RELEASE 20 GA LEVEL.
    AND ON V5R19SP05

    Incident Diagnosis:
    File can not be opened in CATIA. Problem in
    reading document Load operation failed.
    This is the problem.
    .
    Reason:
    The file can not be opened due to fact that the
    following files where missing from instllation.
    CATPipingSample.CATfct
    CATPiping.feat
    CATPlantShipModeler.feat
    When these files placed again then problem does
    not occur.
