Error description
SCENARIO: 1) Start CATIA. 2) Open the 46501-501 Part in New Window. Warning about several editors opened is displayed. 3) Make modifications to the part in the new window as shown in the video file. 4) Close the new window. CATIA asks you if you want to save the part? Save the modified part. 5) Window change to the product. In the Assembly, make some modifications to the same part (46201- 501) as shown in the video file. 6) Open save management window. The status of the modified part is Open. . OBSERVATION: Status of the modified part is open. When product file is closed CATIA does not ask if modification done to the part have to be changed or not. .

THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN FOUND TO BE ANOTHER SYMPTOM OF THE PROBLEM REPORTED IN HD83954. OR THE ANSWER MADE FOR THIS DUPLICATE APAR APPLIES ALSO TO THE CURRENT PROBLEM. INCIDENT DIAGNOSIS: Part status is open in save management when it is modified in product after open in new window is performed on part. . EXPLANATION: The issue is resolved by modifying the algorithm. Now the status of Part is shown as modified in the Save Management window. .
