Problem conclusion

  • THIS PROBLEM IS PERMANENT RESTRICTION IN CATIA
    Additional Closure Information:
    INCIDENT DIAGNOSIS:
Incorrect position of a pasted sketch after performing change
    sketch support operation on it.
    .
    DEVELOPMENT REQUEST JUSTIFICATION:
The provided data has corrupted internal links which causes
the incorrect behaviour seen with sketch positioning
operation. The issue is not reproduced with a similar sketch
created from scratch. In addition the creation scenario of
data is unknown. R&D team will analyse this new model
configuration having corrupted links after creation history
of such data is made available.
    .
    ANSWER AND BYPASS:
To correct the corrupted internal links, the sketch positioning
operation should be performed once again after the sketch is p
ositioned in incorrect place. In Sketch Positioning dialog, sel
ect Type as Sliding and again as Positioned and then select the
    Origin type as Barycenter.
