APAR status

Error description

  • STCAI / CNEXT CATIA process still existing
    with "Automatic disconnection" functtion
    .
    Preparation: Select Tools / Options / General /
    General Tab. Activate "Automatic disconnection
    after 3 minutes".
    .
    Scenario-1: CNEXT process is remained.
    1. Start CATIA V5 R18SP5HF30 on Thin Client
    machine.
    2. Connect to SmarTeam then Log in joe.
    3. Do not do any operation during 3 minutes.
    .
    Problem: CATIA is still open but is not operational
    after 3 minutes. Start "Task Manager" then click
    Process Tab. CNEXT.exe still exists. This is a
    problem.
    .
    Additional information: After more than 3 minutes,
    if you click ON the CATIA window then the CATIA
    Closes along with CNEXT Process.
    .
    The scenario occurs only if connected to
    Smarteam. This problem is not reproduced, if not
    connected to Smarteam.
    .
    This is a regression from CATIA V5R16SP08
    .
    Expected Result: CATIA should close automatically
    after 3 minutes
    .

    ON V5R19SP05
