Error description
SEE: Several mistakes or lacks in the SmarTeam CATIA SEE documentation . 1. Difference in behaviour when running Global Query and Automatic Preselection. The Global Query is not using CAD_TIMESTAMP. This must be added to the documentation 2. In the 'Customizing Databases to use the NewFrom Rule' chapter, there is a mistake. The attribute type for IS_NEWFROM attribute Should be 'Reference to Class' (as shown in the screenshot) instead of 'Long integer'. 3. When running a query that cannot be performed on a document, it throws the warning ?one valid input must be defined for the query ?. This is a normal behavior. But this can happen when some documents contain broken links and when the PartNumber is the only criteria defined. (because PartNumber cannot be retrieved in case of broken links). This is a confusing situation for the user. So it would be good to describe the message ?one valid input must be defined for the query? in the documentation and to explain the above situation (about broken links). 4. In the 'Reconciliation of ENOVIA Data' chapter, about the methodology around Fake product. It is specified that the 'Overwrite' rule must be used for the fake product. But it would be good to insist on this point and to say that the 'reload' rule is set as default and must be changed by the user to 'overwrite' (otherwise changes will not take effect and previous version will be reloaded). .
