Problem conclusion

  • THIS PROBLEM IS PERMANENT RESTRICTION IN
    CATIA
    .
    INCIDENT DIAGNOSIS
The link is lost when relink the CATDrawing and the
CATProduc t with edit/links/Pointed documents into
    VPM is used
    .
    RESTRICTION EXPLANATION
In structure exposed mode, the catproduct
document is not saved. So, whenever, the
structure exposed CATProduct is opened in CATIA,
it is assigned a new UUID. Since CAD*10216 is
stored as blackbox product, its uuid is also stored
in VPM. Since the uuid of the two documents is
    different, the link is refused.
