HD80513: DXF (CATDXF) WRONG TRANSLATION OF TEXT ELEMENTS INTO DXF

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• DXF (CATDXF) Wrong translation of text elements
  into DXF.
  We convert CATDrawing which includes specific
  character string in a text element into DXF
  in "semantic mode", and a garble occurs when
  I convert a made DXF file into CATDrawing.
  scenario:
  1. Make a text element "|A" on Drawing.
  2. Select Tools/Options/General/Compatibility
  3. Select Semantic mode.
  4. Save Drawing in a DXF format.
  5. Open the DXF file which made. Character string
  is garbled.
  6. Garbage characters (Please see attached detail)
  The specific character string is as followings.
  "|A"
  "|B"
  "|d"

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION
  5 RELEASE 20 GA LEVEL.
  THIS PROBLEM IS FIXED ON V5R19SP03 LEVEL.
  The import of special sequences of characters
  |A,|B and |d were interpreted as particular symbols.
  Problem fixed now.
