PROBLEM: When we used CAA API "E2ESendTo" and perform "ENOVIA to ENOVIA SendTo", CAA API fails in "ENOVIA to ENOVIA SendTo" causing connection loss. . DESCRITPTION: . When we used CAA API "E2ESendTo" and perform "ENOVIA to ENOVIA SendTo", CAA API fails in "ENOVIA to ENOVIA SendTo" or causes a connection lost to the server. . PRE-REQUISITES: 01. Open CAA V5 Workspace with VC++. Open Workspace "TSTEnovia" by "Open CAA V5 Workspace". Set up the installation directory of "CATIA V5 R18" by "Locate Prerequisite Workspace". executes mkmk. 02. Save the test document In the environment that can use VPMNavigator, you starts CATIA V5R18. connect to ENOVIA V5. After opening the test document of the following by CATIA V5, save a document by "Save in ENOVIA". . SCENARIO: 1. Start CATIA V5, and connect to "ENOVIA V5" using the "Connect" command of "ENOVIA V5 VPM Navigator". 2. Use the "ENOVIA Search" command of "ENOVIA V5 VPM Navigator", and searche the document saved by work of the previous page. (Refer to the presentation file "PMR61866 HF07_Result.ppt" which shows KO result on R18SP06HF07. This shows the files for which the E2ESendTo fails) 3. Execute the "Properties" command and write down "Document ID" and "Revison" of a document which were saved by work of the previous page. 4 Execute "TSTE2ESendTo". 5 Input into "Document ID" and "Revision" written down by above-mentioned step #3 to "ID" and "Version" of a command dialog. 6 Press "OK" of a command dialog, and check whether "ENOVIA to ENOVIA SendTo" has been executed. 7 After referring to the "Check Pattern" of the next page, executes all patterns and checks whether the document has executed "ENOVIA to ENOVIA SendTo". . Check Pattern About the following 10 patterns, performs scenario operations given above 1-6. Result See PMR61866 HF07_Result.ppt . ACTUAL RESULT: ENOVIA V5 Server connection is lost. . Correction Explanation CATDocumentServices::Open was failing for some of the documents during E2E Tag addition. Added a check so that if Open fails return from there and continue the E2E process for other documents. . Answer and By-Pass --NIL--
