  SCENARIO:
  1) Start CATIA.
  2) Open the CATPart.
  Workbench: Generative Shape Design
  3) Click Offset.
  Offset Surface Definition dialog box is displayed.
  4) Input B as Surface from the tree.
  5) Input -0.3mm as Offset value.
  6) Click OK.
  Warning message displayed and offset not
  performed on one sub element.
  7) Click NO button.
  Error message is displayed.
  8) Click OK button.
  9) Bring cursor to Offset Surface operator.
  Offset failed for smooth edges which are weakly
  sharp.
  Smooth input body in the neighborhood of these
  edges.

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION
  5 RELEASE 20 GA LEVEL.
  NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED
  ON V5R19SP03
  Incident Diagnosis:
  Offset operation fails with update error.

  Correction Explanation:
  The problem has been corrected by versioning. The
  offset feature has to re-created to get the correct
  result.
