• DRAFTING (GENDRAFT) After change CATIA V5
  level, the line type and thickness are different -
  GVS.
  Scenario:
  Settings of option :
  Deactivate Prevent generative view style usage
  function under Drafting/Administration tab.
  1 - Launch CATIA V5 R18.
  2 - Open CATDrawing .
  3 - Open Properties of Front view.
  4 - Choose DefaultGenerativeStyleR18 as GVS and
  update it.
  Problem :
  The line type and thickness are changed differently
  from the behavior on R16.
  Expected result : The line type and thickness are
  kept same as the original drawing representation.

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION
  5 RELEASE 20 GALEVEL.
  NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED
  ON V5R18SP08 AND V5R19SP03
  Incident Diagnosis :
  LineType and LineThick set by application conflicted
  with Drafting's LineType and LineThick for Hidden
  Lines. Drafting removed the conflict for new 2D
  views as of V5R17 SP06 (however, 2D views older
  than V5R17 SP06 still have the conflict).
  Correction Explanation :
  For 2D views older than V5R17 SP01, the
  application will not set LineType and LineThick.
  We chose V5R17 SP01 as a compromise to avoid
  behavior regression of LineType and LineThick set
  by application which began in V5R17 SP01:
  1) Equipment and System object LineType and
  LineThick are set via GVS params and ignore the
  Drafting LineType and LineThick GVS params.
  2) If the Equipment and System object LineType
  and LineThick GVS params are not set, or set to
  invalid values, then the LineType and LineThick are
  inherited from the 3D object.
  Answer and By-Pass :
  The problem of this incident could appear in 2D
  Views that were created between V5R17 SP01 and
  V5R17 SP05.
  The scenario of this APAR involved a view created
  in V5R16 SP06.
