  .
  SCENARIO:
  1) Start CATIA.
  2) Open the CATPart.
  Workbench: Generative Shape Design.
  3) Expand Parameters on the tree.
  Length.1 and Length.2 are displayed on the tree.
  4) Expand Relations on the tree.
  Confirm that Length.2 is using Point.3 of
  deactivation.
  5) Right Click on Point.3 on the tree and Activate
  Point.3
  Point.3 is activated
  6) Right Click on Point.3 on the tree and Deactivate
  Point.3.
  Point.3 is deactivated.
  7) Double-click Length.1 in the parameter.
  Edit Parameter dialog box is displayed.
  8) Change the value from 25mm to 28mm.
  9) Click OK.
  The value of Length.2 remains 30mm.
  10) Close this file without save.
  11) Open the CATPart again.
  Workbench: Generative Shape Design.
  14) Expand Parameters on the tree.
  Length.1 and Length.2 are displayed on the tree.
  15) Double-click Length.1.
  Edit Parameter dialog box is displayed.
  16) Change the value from 25mm to 28mm.
  17) Click OK.

  Error is displayed- Invalid input value and the
  value of Length.2 changes to Unset.

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION
  5 RELEASE 20 GA LEVEL.
  NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED
  ON V5R19SP04

  Incident Diagnosis: Inconsistent behavior when
  value of parameter is changed to Unset after
  related parameter is changed.
  .
  Correction Explanation:
  Value of parameter is changed to Unset when
  related parameter is changed because one of the
  input is deactivated Hence value of dependent
  parameter is not computed and changed to Unset.
  This is normal behavior.
  The behavior where value of parameter was not
  changing to Unset was the wrong behavior. Now
  the correction has been done so that after
  deactivating the input, parameter value will be
  changed to Unset.
