  1. Start CATIA V5 as administration mode.
  2. Select " Tools" / " Standards"  from Menubar.
  >> " Standard Definition"  dialog-box is displayed.
  3. Select "drafting" from " Category " drop-down
  list.
  4. Select " ISO.xml" from " File"  drop-down list.
  5.
  Select "Standard " /"ISO"/ "Dimensions" / "Intersect
  ion Point" in the tree.
  6. Make "Show construction lines" option checked.
  7. Click "Save As New" button.
  >> "Save as" dialog-box is displayed.
  8. Input "test.xml"  in File Name field.
  9. Click " Save"  button.
  11. Exit CATIA.

  2. Open  the CATDrawing.
  3. Click "Dimension" icon.
  The Tools Palette is displayed.
  4. Click "Intersection point detection" icon to
  activate.
  5. Select the intersection point .
  The constraint is created automatically.
  6. Select the line.
  7. Click an arbitrary place in the sheet.
  The dimension is created.
  8. Select the created dimension.
  9. Press "Delete" key.

  RESULTS OBTAINED:
  The dimension is deleted. But a construction line is
  displayed.

  EXPECTED RESULTS:
  When a dimension detecting intersection points is
  deleted,
  the construction line should not be displayed.

  The following text has been added as Information:

  Creating a dimension between intersection points
  is a sort of shortcut that combines the creation of
  an intersection point, construction lines, constraints
  and a dimension all at once. There is no actual link
  between the dimension and the geometry on which
  it is based. As a result, deleting the dimension does
  not delete this geometry (as is already the case
  when creating other types of dimensions on existing
  geometry).
