Error description
OM: NOISEMAP IS NOT APPLIED TO CARPAINT FX PROPERLY. . SCENARIO: 1. Create any intended solid geometry in CATPart file and apply intended material to the solid geometry. 2. Double click at material which you applied and open properties dialog box of the material. Select rendering tab and then select texture tab and select External shader for Type and select CarPaint.fx file (CarPaint.fx file exists in Dassault Systemes / B18 / intel_a / startup / materials / shaders / Painting / CarPaint folder by default.) for File name. Select Auto Adaptive Mapping for Mapping. 3. When CarPaint.fx is read, shading of 3D model changes and it seems that material is applied to 3D model properly. However, field of NoiseMap of material is blank. This is the problem. 4. In NoiseMap field, select dark_noise.bw file which exists in the same folder of CarPaint.fx. 5. Click apply button. As a result, flake-like pattern of metallic disappears on both sample figure on property dialog box and figure in 3D model window. This is the problem. 6. Click OK button and close property window of applied material. However, flake-like pattern of metallic is not displayed. This is the problem. 7. Reopen property dialog box of applied material and you will find that field of NoiseMap returns to blank. This is the problem. . .
