  SCENARIO:

  1. Start CATIA V5.
  2. Open the provided DXF files and DWG files.
  3. Compare the same files by opening in a DWG
  viewer.
  .
  RESULTS OBTAINED:
  .
  Some data is missing or is changed when seen in
  CATIA.
  Dashed lines are seen as Solid line, Table Lines
  and Inputs from Title Block are missing
  Dip Switch Indicators are not solid black up to the
  top of the switch , as in case of the DWG viewer.

  EXPECTED RESULTS:
  All data, text, lines, tables are expected to convert
  from DWG and DXF
  into CATIA and be viewable exactly as they appear
  in the DWG or DXF
  files as seen in the DWG viewer.

  Correction Explanation
  1  CATIA conversion does not convert the dashed
  lines
  Closure : USE
  Mapping used for Line Types. DASHED 2  is an
  owner definition.  CATIA use the type 1 for this
  definition
   2  CATIA conversion is missing lines and input
  data in Title Block
  Closure :  this Correction is done in  V5R19 SP2
  and R20 GA
   3  CATIA conversion Show the top half Of the DIP
  Switches As white.
  Closure : USE/PRS
  Mapping used for Text Fonts, in the report file you
  can see that CATIA change ROMANS ->
  Monospac821 BT
  There is 2 problems, the size of the character "{"
  have not the same size with Monospac821 BT.
  The definition of this mapping is in DXF.xml file
  By default on CATIA, Text on hatch is display with
  blank background, you can change text properties
  in CATIA to No (background). There is any
  information in DXF file to define the background of
  a text.

  Recommended Practice : Use graphic entity instead
  of text

   4  Spline not correctly imported in different
  viewport.
