Comments
Incident Diagnosis: Edge does not get sharp though "Sharpness tab" with "Continuity: Tangent" is specified, it becomes smooth instead of sharp. . Correct Application: The angle value of edge to keep sharp is equal than the default value as 0.5 degree. In all case, an edge is considered as sharp if its value is upper than 0.5 degree. The sharpness angle allows to redefine the low value of angle (upper than 0.5 degree) of the sharp egde. So, if you select an edge to keep sharp (angle= 2.5 degree) and you set a sharpness angle to 3 degree, this edge will not be a sharp edge. Regarding this problem, it is advised to use Local Healing command instead of Local Join because there is nothing to join therefore healing command is not launched by local join command. . Documentation Reference: Mechanical Design - Healing Assistant - Reference Local healing paramaters .
