  1) Start CATIA.
  Workbench: Assembly Design
  2) Insert a part in the product1.
  A part will be added with default part name as
  Pi ce1
  3) Click file- save, error message appears as
  filename contains special characters. This is normal
  behavior as mentioned in the documentation.

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA
  VERSION 5 RELEASE 20 GA level.
  NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE
  FIXED ON V5R19SP03
  Incident DIagnosis: When the default Part name
  contains special characters while working in
  languages other than English, error message
  displayed. In addition, user was not able to save
  the document.

  Correction Explanation:
  User was not able to save the document with
  default name which contain special characters.
  Correction has been done so that CATIA set default
  name in English language while working in
  language other than english.
