  • FSS : THE WORKBENCH CAN'T BE CHANGED
    AFTER DISPLAYING TOOL BAR
    .
    Scenario:
    1) Start CATIA V5R18SP05 (64bit CATIA).
    2) Create the New CATPart.
    2-1) Select File/ New by menu bar.
    >>New dialog box is displayed.
    2-2) Select Part from List of Types andClick OK
    button.
    >>New Part dialog box is displayed.
    2-3) Click OK button in the New Part dialog box.
    >>Part1.CATPart is created.(Workbench : Part
    Design )
    3) Create tool bar of Work bench.
    3-1) Select Tools/ Customize by menu bar.
    >>Customize dialog box is displayed.
    3-2) Select Generative Shape Design and FreeStyle
    from Available workbench list.
    3-3) Click Close button.
    3-4) Select View/ Toolbars/ Workbenches by menu
    bar.
    >>The toolbar of created Work Bench is displayed.
    4) Change the Workbench GSD => Free Style.
    (The first time)
    4-1) Change the workbench to GSD by selecting
    GSD icon of tool bar.
    4-2) Change the workbench to Free Style by
    selecting FreeStyle icon of tool bar.
    5) Click F5 key in Free Style.
    >>Quick Compass orientation tool bar is displayed.
    =>This is KEY POINT!!
    6) Change the Workbench GSD => Free Style.
    (The second time)
    6-1) Change the workbench to GSD by selecting
    GSD icon of tool bar.
    6-2) Change the workbench to Free Style by
    selecting FreeStyle icon of tool bar.
    7) Click F5 key in Free Style.
    >>Quick Compass orientation tool bar is displayed.
    =>This is KEY POINT!!
    8) Change the Workbench GSD => Free Style.
    (The third time)
    8-1) Change the workbench to GSD by selecting
    GSD icon of tool bar.
    8-2) Change the workbench to Free Style by
    selecting FreeStyle icon of tool bar.
    9) Click F5 key in Free Style.
    >>Quick Compass orientation tool bar is displayed.
    =>This is KEY POINT!!
    10) Change the workbench to GSD by selecting
    GSD icon of tool bar.
    >>Work bench doesn't be changed!!
    =>This is the problem!!

    11) Click the any icon.
    >>Other commands can't work!!
    =>This is the problem!!
    12) Close CATIA by Red Close button.
    >>CATIA can't be closed.
    >>CATIA freeze!!
    =>This is the problem!!
