• Prob:
  Attaching Document to Part Reference requires to
  lock Item Instance.
  Preparation:
  Prep1
  Create and save 2 Explode Products instantiated to
  one PRC and 1 Document as follows in ENOVIA V5
  VPM.
  Prep2
  Prerequisites
  -Item Instance of OnlyInsLock.1 is locked by
  current user. And Part Version of OnlyInsLock is
  not locked.
  -Item Instance of OnlyRefLock.1 is not locked. And
  Part Version of OnlyRefLock is by current user.
  .
  Operation:
  Step1 Right-Mouse-Click OnlyInslock from VPM
  Navigator tree, and then select Attach Document
  command from contextual menu.
  Step2 Select options as follows:
  Link Type: Representation
  Parent Type: Reference
  Document Role: Supplementary
  Step3 Search for DocAttachedToReference, select
  it from Search Results, and then click Attach
  button.
  Step4 Document is attached to Part Version in spite
  that Part Version is not locked.
  Step5 Right-Mouse-Click OnlyReflock from VPM
  Navigator tree, and then take the same steps from
  2 to 6 as the previous slide.

  Result:
  Document is NOT attached to Part Version even
  though Part Version is locked by the current user.

  At Step 4, Document should not be attached to Part
  Version because target Part Version is not locked.
  At Step 6, Document should be attached to Part
