  • GSD: HELIX - CATIA ABENDS IF REVOLUTION
VALUE OF HELIX IS CHANGED.

SCENARIO:
1) Start CATIA.
2) Open the file: "Part1.CATPart".
(Workbench: "GSD")
3) Edit "Helix.1".
3-1) Double Click "Helix.1" in the tree. >"Helix
Curve Definition" dialog box is displayed.
3-2) Click "Low" button.  "Low Definition" dialog
box is displayed. Don't Close "Low Definition"
dialog box.
3-3) Change the parameter: "Revolution = 6".
3-4) Click "OK" button in the "Helix Low Definition"
dialog box. "Runtime exception" is displayed.
3-5) Click "OK" button. CATIA got ABEND. This is
the Problem.

Problem conclusion


    

  • THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION
5 RELEASE 19 GA LEVEL.
NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED
ON V5R18SP05
Additional Information:
Revolution can now be edited without ABEND.
(CATIA does not ABEND Even if "Low Definition"
dialog box is not closed and "Revolution" value is
changed.)
